OOSH Northern Beaches is a service that looks after your children before school commences and when school finishes until you can collect them. OOSH Northern Beaches adheres to the standards detailed in the National Quality Framework.
New Australia-wide regulations are being implemented for Out of School Hours Care (OOSH). While the National Quality Framework provide our service with a baseline standard from which we work, the new licensing process being implemented through DoCs, will bring many changes and all our centres are presently working through the process to ensure full accreditation occurs.
We are a government approved, general community service catering mainly for primary school-aged children and whose parents have filled in the registration form, booking forms, provided a copy of immunisation records and paid for that session.
Experienced child carers will supervise and care for your children, always making sure your child is safe and happy. All carers have an understanding that our service is an extension of home life and we believe in consistency of care, similar to a child’s home routine. A minimum of 1 carer holds a current first aid certificate and staff also work at Vacation Care during the School holidays.
